Ronald M. Kadden, PhD

Dr. Kadden is an attending in the Alcohol, Drug Abuse, and Psychiatric Partial Hospital Program at the UConn Health Center. His clinical orientation is cognitive-behavioral. Training interests include chemical dependence, cognitive-behavioral therapy, and motivational interviewing. Dr. Kadden's research focuses on treatment effectiveness for alcoholism and marijuana dependence. He is the author of numerous clinical research papers, and is co-author of a cognitive-behavioral clinical manual for treating alcohol dependence.
