Mary Casey Jacob, Ph.D.

Mary Casey Jacob, Ph.D. is Professor of Psychiatry and Obstetrics and Gynecology. A behavioral medicine psychologist, Dr. Jacob's clinical work is now in the area of reproductive health and family building. Her past research was focused on chronic pain and families created with the help of sperm donors, and now addressed the experience of fertility barriers in non-clinic populations. She is the Chair of the Human Development and Health Course for second year medical and dental students, and teaches in other courses on subjects relating to coping and adaptation in medical patients. She is also the Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs in the School of Medicine..
