Pablo H Goldberg, MD Assistant Professor
Dr Pablo Goldberg has had undergraduate and medical education in Argentina( 1991). He completed his adult Psychiatric Residency at Payne Whitney Clinic, New York Hospital, Cornell (1998)during which he spent some time involved in Psychiatric Genetic Research at Rockefeller University. He trained thereafter in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Hospital. Since completing his fellowship(2000) Dr Goldberg has been involved in Child Psychopharmacological Research in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry in ADHD and in Suicide and in Biological Research in Mood disorders and Suicide at the Department of Neuroscience, New York State Psychiatric Institute, Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center.
Dr Goldberg has a faculty appointment at Columbia University and till recently was Medical Director in the Children?s Day Treatment Unit at New York State Psychiatric Institute. He has moved to University of Connecticut Health Center, where he currently is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Psychiatry in the Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. Dr Goldberg is the Medical Director of the Outpatient clinic and runs an ADHD clinic in the outpatient clinic, which has an important teaching component.He also consults with evaluations and psychopharmacology in several community health centers accross the State. Dr Goldberg is double boarded( Adult and Child Psychiatry), published and is an active member of the APA, AACAP and AMA.
